Censorship is Veiwed in many ways, as people have their own opinions on it;both positive and negative.Censorship is used in the media to protect certain age groups/audiences from veiwing unacceptable or inappropriate things like things that involve Violence or strong language.The reason that certain age groups are restricted from specific parts of the media is because it can be a bad influence that includes violent behavour towards other people,This can lead to anxous parents as it is their responsibility of all their child's actions.

I think that censorship is rather important as it gives the parent or veiwer an idea of what the film or game may contain and protect them from any harmful-to-the-mind scenes or images that may give inapproproate and wrong ideas into their heads.Although others may argue that it is unnecissary and use less as some people dont use it wisely or even bother with it at all.
